Genesis

Since we're on the topic of modular homes on this one, maybe it would be a good idea to talk a bit about the kind we have available. Genesis Homes is the modular home division of Champion. One thing that bothers me is that we have to go through this encumbering process to actually be allowed to retail these homes. Basically, we have to spec one out on a piece of real property and allow Genesis to hold us by the hand through the entire set up process. If I'm not mistaken, we have to do this more than once. Great! Here's an idea. How about Champion ponies up the $ for everything including the lot. How about that? What a load of crap. They won't even let it be a customer sold- HAS TO BE spec. Really, thanks. We can do on-frame modular homes right now. Those homes are more like a super manufactured home anyway. Not a hell of a lot of difference between the two.
